Re: Case Knife 596-2 3/4D
I might have to give credit to our area for the fortunate fact that I get to see and work on a lot of very nice knives – seems like people in this area recognize good knives.
For those of you not all that much into knives just remember that I appreciate any item that exhibits a melding of form and function and a good quality knife that looks well and does its job falls into that category.
One of the three knives left recently is a rare Case knfie made around 1989. It is the first, as far as I know, knife that Case made with Damascus steel. It was assigned model number 596-2 3/4 D. It has a 2 & 3/4″ blade and the handle slabs appear to be genuine stag.
