My wife, Vickie, and I work from a shop in our back yard so we are just about always at home but often cannot monitor the front door. So, it is best to call if wanting to drop off or pick up.
We like to travel a bit so always call to make sure we are able to get the work done when you need it. We do not work Friday, Saturday or Sunday but will take calls. Monday thru Friday you can call from 6:00am to 6:00 pm. My cell phone is 251-583-5955.
After retirement, I decided to turn my hobby, metal restoration and blade sharpening, into a service for folks in the Mobile County Alabama area. I am a compulsive sharpener. I cannot tolerate a dull edge. Due to my passion for working with metal tools, I have pretty much had a life long learning experience through the study of sharpening tools and techniques.
I am encouraged by appreciative owners that comment on the cutting instruments left in my care. I continue to study and develop new techniques – or discover and revive old techniques. I do not claim to know everything about sharpening but I will guarantee an astonishingly sharp and durable edge on your cutting tools.
Have your kitchen knives, cutlery, scissors, garden tools and most hand tools sharpened by a pro. I sharpen at your restaurant, hotel or other venue and offer on-site mobile sharpening service in all of Mobile County.
Sharpening Services For All Of Mobile County: Axis, Bayou La Batre, Bucks, Calvert, Chickasaw, Chunchula, Citronelle, Creola, Dauphin Island, Mobile, Mount Vernon, Prichard, Saraland, Satsuma
If it is made of metal, do not throw it away. Bring it to me. I can always use metal to repair or make something new.
I also can use small electrical appliances, motorized kids’ toys and bicycles.
Most I can clean, fix and donate.

If you call and I do not answer, please leave a message. I always have my phone with me but when you call I may have an air compressor running, or a grinder running or with a customer – so, I may not answer right away, but I will return your call right away. If it’s important enought to call, it’s important enough to leave a message.
